According to the Annual Town Report, Maude Francis was the teacher at Washington Hill School for only the 1907/1908 school year. Enrollment for the year was listed at eleven, but average attendance at 7.9.

A note on the back of the photo indicates that this is the Washington Hill School in 1908. The teacher is identified as “Miss Booth” and the boy to her left as “Judson LeGeyt.” Very faint writing on the back identifies the others.
Eve Brooks is listed in Town records as being the teacher at Washington Hill School in 1908-1909.
